DANIEL VICINI, President
Growing up in California, Daniel has always had a need for fast-paced environments and being around fun-loving people. After working in the event industry for several years, Daniel saw a need for an event staffing company in Las Vegas who would always strive to go above and beyond for their clients. Thus, Dakota Events was created in 2003. While growing Dakota Events, Daniel has continued to be very active in the industry, executing events with several Fortune 500 companies.
ALEXANDRA STRAWN, Director of Operations
When Alexandra is not in the office working directly with our clients or on-site facilitating a program she can be found cheering on the University of Kansas basketball team. Beginning her career as an intern for Dakota Events over 13 years ago, Alexandra has transitioned into the Director of Operations where she manages our entire team across North America, as well as day-to-day operations.
NANCY MARTIN, Operations Manager
Starting in the meeting and event industry with Dakota Events over 16 years ago as an intern, Nancy rejoined the team as Operations Manager in 2019. Nancy graduated with her Bachelor’s degree in Meeting and Event Management from UNLV and then worked as a Catering/Conference Service Manager for eight years at various properties in Las Vegas. Nancy’s hospitality experience and organization skills contribute to the success of Dakota Events. She manages the Road Show Department and supports internal team projects.
MACY SEARS, Operations Coordinator
With a background in hospitality and business operations, Macy has joined Dakota Events to support internal projects, staffing functions, and on-site management for events. Macy graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2014 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Management, and later relocated to Las Vegas to kickstart her career in hospitality. With her previous experience working in hotels, as well as the sports and entertainment industry, Macy brings a diverse skill set to our team. In her free time, she enjoys exploring new restaurants and trying to recreate their dishes at home.
VAN MA, Office Admin
Born in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, Van relocated to Las Vegas, NV in 2005. She graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Administration from UNLV and started working at Dakota Events as an ambassador and then Lead. Van transitioned into the role of Office Administrator in 2023. When on-site she loves interacting with staff and clients and is known for her welcoming smile and ability to always greet staff by name. Van enjoys working in the fast-paced event industry that’s ever-changing. In her free time, she loves to travel, eat different cuisines and try new things.
On-site LEAD Team
Our On-site Management Team is comprised of over 35 rockstar individuals who help lead our teams in Las Vegas, Nashville, Orlando, San Diego and San Francisco. These event professionals train our local staff teams, as well as facilitate the behind-the-scenes operations to make sure your event runs smoothly. Our team has over 200 years of combined management experience in various industries. We pride ourselves on understanding the logistics, flexibility, and pro-activeness of on-site staffing. Our goal is to help provide all the tools necessary, so our local staff team can provide the best experience possible for your attendees.
